johnpmeyer > Percha Creek (east of Hillsboro) is quite an impressive defile, and this antique truss structure once supported the roadbed of Hwy. 90; now, the old bridge is fenced off and a new span serves the highway (see next image).
johnpmeyer > This one's still in use across the Rio Puerco north of Socorro, although the "highway" that crosses it receives naught but ranch traffic and the occasional lost tourist (like me).
johnpmeyer > Been meaning to stop and have a close look at this bridge for years - it spans the Rio Hondo just south of the Lincoln Historic District, and although it may no longer be used for automobile traffic, its Pratt Truss structure makes for an intersting photographic study.
